The communications and media markets are in
a constant state of change. Given reported
reductions in advertising revenues and the
commoditization of voice and to some extent
data services, leaders in this space are
being forced to look for new opportunities
to exploit their networks and content while
maximizing their existing investments in
their core business. Also, the convergence
of these industries through new media
opportunities has created valuable growth
potential for our clients. ProLink
Communications provides business and
technology consulting services to these
customers.
In media, we work with senior business and
technology leaders to provide support
services in areas such as Advertising Sales,
Programming Services, Affiliate Services,
e-Commerce, Rights Management and IP
exploitation. We also assist our media
clients by providing expert advice in new
media and alternative media distribution
opportunities through our network of
partners and in-house industry veterans.
Our communications customers have leveraged
our expertise in operational support systems
support (Customer Relationship Management,
Billing, Customer Experience Management,
etc.,) as well as data centric solutions
(data warehousing, Business Intelligence,
Operational Performance Management). Our
e-centric solutions have enabled our clients
to manage their customers and their internal
operations more efficiently and with greater
clarity.
Our niche focus in mobile media has bridged
these two industries. ProLink works with
Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) and
Mobile Virtual Network Enablers and their
service providers to assist customers
planning a launch of voice and data services
to their target markets. Our subject matter
experts and partners have enabled customers
to launch services across most of the major
wireless brands in operation in the US. In
addition, we help media clients devise
strategies to reach existing and broader
markets with their unexploited Intellectual
Property using mobile networks.
Our focus in communications and media is
directed by Managing Director Karen Firkser
and is one of the three markets that ProLink
serves.
